Is a security deposit required, and how is it refunded?

Yes, a standard refundable security deposit of $150 is required at the time of pickup to cover potential damages. For your peace of mind, we provide a digital or printed receipt immediately. The deposit is fully refunded in cash or via original payment method as soon as the vehicle is returned in its original condition.

Does the rental price include insurance and driving permits?

Your safety and legality are included in the price! Every rental tuktuk comes with full comprehensive insurance for the driver, passengers, and third parties. While the daily rate covers the vehicle, we also offer a service to arrange your Sri Lankan Driving Permit ($40) before you arrive, so you are 100% legal to drive the moment you land.
But your responsibility is to take care of local people’s tuktuk as you own. And you will be responsible for mainer damagers under $150 which is not covered from tuktuk Insurance.
